After a medical emergency, trip cancellation, or lost bag, travelers called the insurer from abroad, repeated policy and incident information, emailed receipts and medical documents separately, and waited for confirmation that the claim had been created. Claim intake teams then reconstructed the claim across multiple channels and time zones.
